How does Zapmark work?
Zapmark sits on top of the big image models — primarily Google's Gemini, and optionally OpenAI's image models depending on the option you pick. The thing we build is the workflow around them: a grid of options from one prompt, the ability to select what works, combine selections, and steer with short notes. We don't train our own model — we make the existing best models faster to explore.
Why does one generation get a whole grid?
Because we run the variations in parallel. Most AI image tools charge for every image you make. Zapmark sends a single prompt and gets a full grid back in one call — 16 ideas in one go, at the price it would normally cost for 1. Exploring nine directions costs the same as picking one.
Why generate multiple at once?
Because most of the time, the best mark isn't the first thing you imagine — it's the one you'd recognise after seeing ten options side by side. If you're not sure what you want yet, a grid shows you directions. If you already know, the grid gives you variants of that to compare. Either way, you commit after seeing options, not before.
Do I need design experience?
